landscape proposals

Situated within the northern fringe of Newcastle City Centre, Cobalt Business Park has become the largest office park in the UK providing more than 1.5 million sq ft of office space. During his time at Waterman EED, Brad was responsible for masterplanning, design and delivery of the hard and soft landscaping both for the infrastructure and the individual office development plots to ensure a seamless and fully integrated environment was achieved. Working in close collaboration with other environmental disciplines, key to the success of the development are its green credentials and extensive connectivity with the surrounding transport network.

Of the current employees at Cobalt, one third are using sustainable ways to access their employment on a daily basis. The expansive landscape setting makes best use of water attenuation features to create habitat-rich wetlands accessible to all through a network of pedestrian and cycle paths and boardwalks.
